Nice to meet you, I’m Zhané Nícole!
I am an African American Actress, Singer and Teaching Artist. Acting and Music have been my passions since I discovered them at 4 years old. The very first time I performed I knew that the world of the arts is where I wanted to be. When I was 10 years old I discovered my passion for teaching. I loved the idea of being able to teach and inspire the next generation as my predecessors had done for me.
When I got to high school I took singing lessons from Montel Moore, of Maverick City Music. At the same time I also focused on my acting and my writing as well.
I joined the military for a time and immediately following my service I went to college. I pursued my degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago. I will be graduating with my BFA in Acting this May.
I was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri. Although, I am now based in Chicago, Post graduation I will be available for hire in both St. Louis and Chicago.
No matter if I am in a class room, on stage or serving my country, I always give all that I have to that craft. In a lot of ways this is my most important craft because everyone has a story to tell and I love having the honour to tell them!
